Shashank Tripathi, born on January 7, 1991, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate and Collector of Barabanki, a position he assumed on January 17, 2025. Prior to this, he held the role of Assistant Secretary. He continues to be in active service within the IAS.
