Shashank Sethi, born on 15 February 1984, is a 2010 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from IIT Kharagpur. Currently, he serves as the Additional Director General at West Bengal since 7 March 2026, working in the Netaji Subhas Administrative Training Institute. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Additional District Magistrate, Executive Magistrate, Assistant Magistrate, District Magistrate, Director, Project Director, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Secretary, and Managing Director. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Shashank Sethi continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
