Shashank Misra, born on 16 March 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Power, Ministry of Power, New Delhi (since 18 July 2023). His previous roles include Director, Managing Director, Commissioner, Additional CEO, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Collector, Assistant Collector, and Officer on Special Duty. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
