Sharanya Ari, born on December 2, 1990, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. She holds a B.Tech. in Information Technology from SRM University, Chennai. Currently, she serves as the Additional Director in the Social Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu since September 1, 2025. Her previous roles include Additional Director, Sub Collector, Assistant Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner (Education). Sharanya Ari continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the governance and administration of Tamil Nadu.
