Shantanu, born on 27 August 1972, is a 1997 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Tripura cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Roorkee and an M.Sc. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary at Tripura since 8 June 2026 under the Government of Tripura. His extensive career includes roles such as Assistant Collector, Sub Divisional Officer, Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Mission Director, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, and Additional Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and remains in active service.
