Shamsheer Singh Rawat, born on 20 December 1969, is a 1992 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.A. degree and has served in multiple key administrative roles including Principal Secretary to Government, Joint Collector, Secretary to Government, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Project Officer, CEO, Project Director, Appellate Assistant Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. Since 19 May 2025, he has been serving as the Special Chief Secretary to Government in the General Administration Department of Andhra Pradesh.
