Shambu N Nandy, born on August 4, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate, Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the State Public Service Commission from March 1, 2002, to August 31, 2004. Mr. Nandy’s extensive experience in administrative roles reflects his long-standing commitment to public service in West Bengal.
