Shambhu Kumar, born on 18 July 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech degree and is currently serving as Managing Director at Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd, Lucknow since 7 October 2022. His previous roles include Managing Director, Special Secretary, District Collector, Registrar, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, Assistant Collector, and Executive Magistrate. He has been recognized for initiatives such as the Mega Plantation Drive on Independence Day 2018, leadership at the district level, and work benefiting handicapped people. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
