Shama Parveen, born on April 4, 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds a graduate degree and a postgraduate degree in History from Kanpur University. Currently, she serves as the Senior Special Secretary in the North Bengal Development Department. Her previous roles include Executive Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Secretary, Officer on Special Duty, and District Magistrate. Proficient in Hindi and Bengali, Shama Parveen continues to contribute to public administration in West Bengal.
