Sham Lal Goyal, born on 22 December 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Maharashtra cadre. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, and District Collector. He also held roles such as Director (Census Operations), Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Resident Commissioner at Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. Throughout his career, Goyal contributed to multiple departments within the Maharashtra government before retiring from service.
