Shalini Agarwal, born on 28 October 1980, is a 2005 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre. She holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Bihar Engineering University. Currently, she serves as Managing Director at Vadodara, Gujarat, in the Energy and Petrochemicals Department since 22 January 2026. Her previous roles include Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, District Development Officer, Under Secretary, Supernumerary Assistant Collector, and Additional Chief Executive Officer. She has received multiple awards, including Cleanest City of India (Rank-1), National Water Awards, and Best Collector Award for Parliamentary Elections 2019. She speaks English and Hindi.
