Shaktikanta Das, born on 26 February 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in History. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Special Commissioner, Managing Director, Executive Director, and Governor. His most recent position was Principal Secretary-2 to the Prime Minister in New Delhi. He is proficient in English, Hindi, Oriya, and Tamil.
