Shakti Kumar Negi, born on April 7, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, State Project Director, Additional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, Joint Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent designation was Principal Secretary in the Departmental Inquiries, a position he held from April 15, 2013.
