Shakeel Ahmed, born on March 22, 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Calcutta University. Currently, he serves as the Member Secretary at the WB Minority Commission, MA and ME Department in Kolkata, a position he has held since November 6, 2017. Throughout his career, Shakeel Ahmed has also held roles including Special Secretary, Commissioner, and Member Secretary. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
