Shailesh Bagauli, born on 02/02/1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a Master’s degree in International Development Public Policy from Duke University and an M.Sc. from IIT Kanpur. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Home Department of Uttarakhand since 17/01/2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary to Government, Director, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
