Shailendra Singh, born on December 20, 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds degrees in Physics and Law (LL.B.). Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Special Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Managing Director, Controller, Additional Collector, Administrator, and Competent Authority. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce & Industry Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi, from July 22, 2017, to July 21, 2021.
