Shailendra Nigam, born on 31 July 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch of the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Joint Chief Controller (Director and Deputy Secretary equivalent), Executive Director, Joint Secretary, Director, Commissioner, Deputy Resident Commissioner, Manager, Deputy Director, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was as a Member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission from 3 October 2005 to 31 July 2007.
