Shailendra Kumar Joshi, born on 20 December 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Telangana cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics, an M.Tech. in Radio Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from TERI School of Advanced Studies. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, Joint Commissioner, and Private Secretary. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Irrigation and Command Area Development Department, starting from 17 May 2016. Joshi’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple roles across state and central government departments.
