Shaila A, born on 23 May 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2003 Maharashtra cadre. She holds a B.A., B.Ed., and M.A. from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Currently serving as Secretary at Mumbai since 1 April 2022, she works in the Reforms, Finance Department, Mantralaya. Her previous roles include Special Commissioner, Managing Director, Chairperson & MD, Joint Commissioner, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, and Sub Divisional Officer. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, Shaila A continues to contribute to public administration in Maharashtra.
