Shahzad Alam, born on 27 February 1995, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2019 batch, assigned to the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Gauhati, Assam. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at J&K, a position he assumed on 23 February 2026. Previously, he held the role of Director (Employment) in the Department of Kulgam. Shahzad Alam is proficient in Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
