Sepuri Suresh Kumar, born on 25 May 1966, is a 1988 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) since 1 January 2024. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Director, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Adviser, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Special Secretary, Project Director, District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English, Telugu, and Bengali. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
