Senthil K Kumar, born on May 1, 1969, is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an M.E. in Power Systems Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Sugarcane Department, Bihar, a position he has held since December 30, 2025. Throughout his career, he has also held the roles of Principal Secretary and Secretary. Fluent in English and Tamil, Senthil K Kumar continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Bihar.
