She is currently serving as the Director of Museums, Chennai, a position she has held since 22 July 2025. Throughout her career, she has held multiple leadership roles, including Director and Managing Director. Selvi Kavitha Ramu continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration within her cadre.
