Saurav Pahari, born on 12 October 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Com. degree from Calcutta University. Currently, he serves as the Director at the Institute of Environmental Studies and Wetland, West Bengal, a position he has held since 12 August 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Chairman, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, and Sub Divisional Officer. He is proficient in Bengali and English. Saurav Pahari remains in active service.
