Saurabh Bhagat, born on April 30, 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.A. in Management, an M.A. in Psychology, and a C.S. in Company Law. Currently, he serves as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government in the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department of Jammu and Kashmir, a position he has held since June 11, 2025. Mr. Bhagat has previously held the role of Commissioner & Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
