Saugat Biswas, born on January 2, 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Zoology from Delhi University and an M.A. in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia. Currently, he is the Transport Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh. His previous roles include Commissioner and Secretary. Biswas is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
