Satya Prakash Patel, born on December 7, 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2013 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering from DDU Gorakhpur University, an M.Sc. in Ecology Technology from ICPE Ljubljana, and an online certificate in Big Data Analytics from IMT Ghaziabad. Currently, he is the Special Secretary in the Urban Development Department at Lucknow, a position he has held since July 9, 2023. Previously, he served as Special Secretary and Municipal Commissioner. He received the Dr. B.C. Roy IMA U.P. State Award for Excellence in Covid Care in 2020.
