Satish Tripathi, born on January 1, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1972 batch, Maharashtra cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Principal Secretary, Chairman, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the General Administration Department of Maharashtra. He also held roles such as Secretary to the Governor, Vice Chairperson, Additional Commissioner, Administrator, Director, Joint Director, CEO, and SDO. His extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Maharashtra government.
