Satish K Kakar, born on 24 June 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Punjab cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, and Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department from 1 May 1997 to 1 June 1997.
