Additional Chief Secretary, Consumer Affairs Department
Satish Chandra Tewary, born on 14 February 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration, a B.E. in Electronics, and a postgraduate degree in International Business. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Labour Commissioner, and Director. From 1 April 2015, he held the position of Additional Chief Secretary in the Consumer Affairs Department. His extensive service record reflects a broad administrative experience within the West Bengal government.
