His educational qualifications include a graduate degree in Physics, an M.Tech. in Environmental Science from IIT Bombay, and an M.A. in Rural Development from the University of East Anglia. Throughout his career, he held various positions such as Secretary, Director General, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Transport Commissioner, Chairperson, Vice Chairman, District Collector and Magistrate, and Chief Executive.
