Sasim Kumar Barai, born on 12 October 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2011 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.A. in Public Administration. Currently, he serves as the Senior Special Secretary in the Environment Department, a position he assumed on 1 January 2024. Mr. Barai is actively serving in the IAS and has contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal.
