Sarwan Singh Channy, born on May 5, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Punjab cadre. He holds degrees in Political Science, Law (LL.B.), and a postgraduate qualification in Public Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Labour Commissioner, Special Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Secretary, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Transport Department from September 14, 2013, to May 31, 2014.
