Sarvjit Singh, born on 15 July 1966, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as the Special Chief Secretary in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department since 13 April 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Secretary, Secretary to Government, Chief Administrator, Sr. Regional Manager, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Under Secretary, and Sub-Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English and Punjabi.
