Sarmishtha Ghosh, born on February 28, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch, West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate and Joint Secretary. Most recently, he held the position of Special Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from January 1, 2012, to February 28, 2013. Throughout his career, Ghosh contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal until his retirement.
