Sarabjit Singh, born on March 10, 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate degrees in English Literature and Law, along with a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Registrar, Joint Secretary, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Regional Food Controller, Deputy Director, Additional District Magistrate, and Deputy Director. His most recent position was Director in the Urban Development Department from July 1, 1989, to July 1, 1990. Singh’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
