Currently, she serves as the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer (DDC-cum-CEO) at Supaul, Bihar, a position she has held since 20 April 2025. Prior to this, she worked as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM). Sara Ashraf continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to administrative functions within Bihar.
