Sanyukta Samaddar, born on 28 August 1975, is a 1999 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science. Currently serving as Principal Secretary in the Civil Defence Department at Lucknow since 13 January 2025, she has held various positions including Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, Officer on Special Duty, Director, District Magistrate, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, and Assistant Magistrate. Fluent in Bengali, English, and Hindi, Sanyukta Samaddar continues to contribute to public administration in Uttar Pradesh.
