Santosh Kumar Yadav, born on 19 January 1971, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Water Resources Development from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Chairman at the National Highway Authority of India, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi (since 2 January 2023). His extensive career includes roles such as Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Chairperson & Managing Director, Managing Director & CEO, Vice Chairman, Commissioner, District Magistrate, and others. He has been honored with the SKOCH Award for Governance Gold. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
