Santosh Kumar Rai, born on January 8, 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2014 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Political Science from Bihar University. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, SDO/SDM, and SDM. Currently, he is the Special Commissioner at Delhi in the Trade and Taxes Department, a position he has held since February 16, 2026. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
