Santosh Kumar Misra, born on 12 September 1971, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2000 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and a postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Collector, Deputy Commissioner, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Director and Managing Director, Sanchalak, Joint Secretary, and Secretary Director. His most recent status was On Study Leave from 3 July 2017 to 14 May 2018. Mr. Misra’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership roles within the Tamil Nadu government.
