He holds certificates in History from the University of Virginia, Energy Studies from the University of Texas System, and Management from the French Ministry of Education, Paris. His awards include the Edward Mason Fellowship and certificates for election management and urban water supply planning. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
