Sanoj Kumar Jha, born on 14 November 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, assigned to the Sikkim cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from King's College London. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, New Delhi, since 18 April 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Private Secretary, Joint Director, and District Development Officer. He is proficient in English and Hindi and remains in active service.
