Sanjiv Kumar Mittal, born on August 8, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Financial Advisor, Director, Commissioner, Secretary, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Additional Director, Chief Development Officer, Executive Magistrate, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Chairman of the Board of Revenue, beginning May 1, 2022. Mr. Mittal’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative and financial roles within the Uttar Pradesh government.
