Sanjiv Kumar Besra, born on 22 December 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2012 batch, Jharkhand cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History (Hons) from Banaras Hindu University and a postgraduate diploma in Mass Communication from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. Currently, he serves as the Mission Director-cum-CEO (JSDMS) at Jharkhand in the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development. His previous roles include Transport Commissioner, Labour Commissioner, Assistant Collector & Magistrate, and Mission Director Cum CEO. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
