Sanjiv Kumar, born on 18 September 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Karnataka cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Botany. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Director, Commissioner Director, Project Coordinator, Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Chief Electoral Officer Secretary. His most recent position was Chief Electoral Officer Secretary at Bangalore, Karnataka, from 23 August 2021 to 30 September 2021 in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms.
