Sanjeev Verma, born on April 6, 1974, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. in Marketing. Currently, he is the Principal Secretary at Jammu and Kashmir, a position he has held since January 13, 2026, within the Election Department. His previous roles include Chief Electoral Officer and Commissioner & Secretary. Sanjeev is proficient in Dogri, English, and Hindi. He continues to serve in the IAS with a focus on administrative responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
