Sanjeev Singh, born on May 6, 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Allahabad and an M.A. in History from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. Currently, he serves as the Director at the Social Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh, a position he has held since January 2, 2026. Previously, he has held the role of Special Secretary. Sanjeev Singh is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
