Sanjeev Kumar, born on 31 December 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Managing Director, Special Secretary, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, and Chief Development Officer. His most recent position was Project Director at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from 26 February 2013 to 31 December 2013. He was associated with the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation during his service.
