Sanjeev Kumar, born on May 2, 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2012 batch, serving in the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar. Currently, he is the Special Secretary in the Public Health Engineering department at Bihar-Patna, a position he has held since January 1, 2025. His previous roles include Deputy Development Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Officer. Sanjeev Kumar is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
